The S-thetic Circle Conference took place in Dusseldorf, Germany June 17-18. Organized by well known German Dermatological Surgeon Dr. Afschin Fatemi, this conference consisted of live surgeries, cadaver dissection, lectures, and active discussion with faculty. Attendees had interaction with leaders in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, ENT, and industry during the conference. The cadaver dissection, led by Dr. Afschin Fatemi, was essential in helping the attendees understand anatomy and the fine points of surgery and other procedures. Dr. Lance Setterfield conducted a one day microneedling class in Las Vegas, nevada to coincide with the 25th Annual Convention of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals where he was invited as a guest speaker. SCOPE OF PRACTICE with needling was a prevailing theme. Dr. Lance Setterfield conducted a two day microneedling workshop in Holland April 9-10, 2016. This was Dr. Setterfield's 4th invitation to the Derm IQ Knowledge Centre to lecture on Needling. Basics such as anatomy, physiology, and cell to cell communication were discussed on day one. Worldwide Laser Institute held its first ever Needling Course in Dallas, Texas. Needling expert and author Dr. Lance Setterfield was the Faculty for the course. The morning session consisted of an introduction to needling, followed by an advanced needling session and finally a hands on session for the students.
